Schoaff scores three times as Lions beat Falcons 48-20
TUCSON — Pusch Ridge Christian Academy lost their first-ever meeting with Catalina Foothills 10 years ago but they haven’t fallen to the Falcons since.
Dylan Schoaff ran for three touchdowns (17, 3 and 22) Thursday night as the Lions bounced back from their 42-31 Week 3 loss to Crismon with a 48-20 schellacking Catalina Foothills.
PRCA (3-1) is now 7-1 all-time against the Falcons.
MJ Buckner threw a 64-yard strike to Colton Bogard in the 1st quarter to push the Lions to an early 13-0 advantage. He also ran for a 1st half score.

The Lions had a pair of defensive touchdowns in the game. Marshall Williamson recovered an errant snap in the end on the 1st half and Braydan Nolan scooped a 2nd half fumble and returned it 70 yards for a score.
All three of Catalina Foothill’s (0-3) touchdowns came off the arm of quarterback Jackson Hime.
He threw a pair of touchdown passes to star receiver Levi Adcick including a 74-yarder that pulled the Falcons to within 20-13 in the 2nd quarter.
Hime also found Alieu Marong for a 75-yard touchdown to close out the game’s scoring.
The Falcons have non-league games against Snowflake and Pueblo before they open up Conference 4A Kino region play on October 2 against Amphitheater.
Pusch Ridge Christian opened the season with a Conference 3A East region win over San Tan Foothills. The Lions return to region action next week on the road at Florence.
PRCA reached the 3A semifinals last season after winning the state title in 2024.
Catalina Foothills is facing a ninth straight season without a state playoff appearance.
