TMRW Sports, the parent company of TGL, is finalizing a new round of funding that will double the business’ valuation to $1 billion, according to Front Office Sports.
After the Series A round, the business was valued at close to $500 million and reportedly increased to $650 million during last year’s funding round.
There have reportedly been conversations between TMRW and some investors dating back to July, around the time of the World Cup final. Dynasty Equity, which was a co-leader for the 2024 Series A, is reportedly a part of the new funding.
The other co-leading firm from Series A, Connect Ventures, has not yet announced if it will be a part of this round.
TMRW Sports was established by Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and former Golf Channel president Mike McCarley in 2022.
Investors include Philadelphia 76ers, New Jersey Devils, and Washington Commanders co-owner David Blitzer, Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank, New York Giants co-owner and Gotham FC governor Carolyn Tisch Blodgett, Fenway Sports Group, Alexis Ohanian, Michael Rubin, Justin Bieber, and Shaquille O’Neal.
