Everyone Runs is hosting Veteran’s Day Trail races and a 5k road run! There is a 10.6 mile and a 5.3 mile trail race which starts at the park trail head and travels the trails of Catalina State Park! The 5k road run takes place on the fast and flat roads of the park! Registration includes access to a free homemade Mexican breakfast, coffee, snacks, finisher shirts and special offers from vendors on site!

#RUNMARANA is hosting a Turkey Trot on Saturday, November 15th, 2025! There are four endurance events: a half marathon, 10k, 5k and the kids fun run
(which is FREE)! The out-and-back routes will run along the scenic Santa Cruz River path with refueling stations located at the start/finish line, the 5K turnaround, the 10K turnaround, and the half marathon turnaround. The course remains entirely on the shared-use path and is well-marked with triangle ground signs. Registration includes a custom race bib, a finisher medal, photo booth, face painting, turkey crafts and more!
The 4th Annual Balloon Glow in the Desert is happening at Desert Diamond Sahuarita’s parking lot on Saturday, November 15th from 6pm to 10pm! This event is FREE to attend! You can enjoy live entertainment, food vendors, drink concessions and more!
Tucson Parks and Recreation invites you to celebrate the season at this year’s Fall Family Festival on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 12pm to 7 p.m. at the Reid Park Festival Area (South Lakeshore Lane, Tucson, AZ 85716). There will be games, activities, food trucks, live music and more!
Celebrate fall with Pima Animal Care Center at their third annual Fall Festival Sunday, November 16th at PACC! Adoptable dogs will be playing and enjoying the cool weather while you enjoy an afternoon of games, music, food trucks, and activities. All pets adopted from PACC are spayed or neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and they’ll all be free to adopt only during the Fall Festival! Twice as Nice Cookies & Treats is hosting a Thanksgiving Cookie decorating class on November 16th at 2pm! The class is 90 minutes and they will provide you with everything you need from cookies to sprinkles!
El Tour De Tucson is happening November 22nd throughout the whole day! Registration fees depend on what time you register by! They can vary from $15-$300! If you wish to spectate there are tons of viewing spots along the different routes! The El Tour De Tucson Expo & Fiesta will also be open for the public to interact with exhibitors, food booths, and other activities.
Tanque Verde Ranch is hosting a mouth-watering Thanksgiving dinner where you can enjoy time with family and friends without the stress of cooking! There are two seating times 1:15pm in the barn and 2:30pm in the Carrillo Dining Room! Prices start at $80 for adults and $40 for children 12 and under!

Downtown Parade of Lights & Festival is taking place on Saturday, December 6th! The parade starts at 6:30pm at 17th Street and 4th Avenue, heads north on 4th Avenue to 12th Street, west on 12th Street to 6th Avenue, south on 6th Avenue, ending at Armory Park. Make sure to visit and support downtown businesses before and after the parade!
The Marana Holiday Festival and Christmas Tree Lighting is back on December 6th, 2025 from 2pm-9pm! The tree lighting ceremony starts at 6pm and the encore starts at 8:30pm! This event is FREE to attend and parking is also free! There will be live music, performances, activities for kids, food trucks, Santa & Mrs. Claus photo opportunities and more!
Murray & Peter Present “A Drag Queen Christmas” hosted by Nina West at Centennial Hall on December 12th at 8pm! It’s the longest-running drag tour in America. Celebrate Chanukah 2025 at the 42th annual lighting ceremony of Tucson’s tallest Menorah on Sunday, December 14th, 2025 from 5pm-6pm in the El Presidio Plaza (outside City Hall), 160 W Alameda St, Tucson, AZ 85701! There will be the Grand Menorah Lighting, songs, holiday treats & crafts, and personal Menorahs to take home! Admission is free and open to the public!

On December 14th from 10am-12pm Tucson Presidio Museum is hosting a Holiday Cards Making Workshop! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create four unique holiday cards. Artist John Gates will lead you through the process of creating two watercolor designs. Then Homer Thiel will teach you a paper cutting technique to craft two additional cards. All materials will be provided. For members it will cost $15 and for non-members it will cost $20!
Share the joy of NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet with family and friends on, December 22nd at Centennial Hall! There are two show times, one at 3pm and the other at 7pm! Tickets range from $35.25-$195.50!

The 36th Annual All Souls Procession is back from November 7th-November 9th! Assembling on Grande Avenue at 4pm-departing at 6 pm. Culminating in the “Restoration of Care” Ceremony and burning of the URN/finale ceremony in The Mercado District. This event is FREE to attend thanks to donations that keep the All Souls Procession in the public domain!
Broadway in Tucson is putting on Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical from November 11th-16th! The musical will feature hit songs “You’re A Mean One Mr. Grinch” and “Welcome Christmas” (written by Albert Hague and Dr. Seuss) from the original animated series and much more! Tickets range from $111-$37.70. The show will be 85 minutes with no intermission!
Christ Community Church is hosting a KristKindleMart Craft Fair Friday, November 14th, from 3:00pm-7:00pm and Saturday, November 15th, from 9:00am-2:00pm! The 42nd Annual Fall Artisans Market is coming back to the Tucson Museum of Art from November 21st-November 23rd from 10am-5pm! TMA’s Fall Artisans Market features more than 100 unique and local artists and artisans with crafts, original artwork, pottery, glass, jewelry, textiles, and gift items in an outdoor street fair setting. Museum admission is pay-what-you-wish, it’s up to you! All visitors and members are encouraged to make a voluntary donation for general admission.
Old Tucson’s beloved holiday spectacular ‘Yuletide’ returns as Old Tucson is transformed into a western winter wonderland called The West Pole! Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium’s annual “Season of Light” is back from November 28th-December 31st! Now in fulldome format, this show explores the many festivals of light (including Christmas and Hanukkah) that celebrate the spirit of renewal around the Winter Solstice, the shortest day and longest night of the year. Full of popular holiday music, you’ll learn the origins of today’s Christmas songs and customs and you’ll discover how the dark days of winter have inspired luminous festival traditions in other times and cultures, and how all of those traditions connect back to astronomy! Tucson Parks and Recreation’s annual Holiday Arts & Crafts Fair is back on Thanksgiving weekend at 920 S. Concert Place, Gene C. Reid Park (west side of park off of Country Club Rd.)! On Saturday, November 29, the fair is open 9am-4pm and Sunday, November 30, the fair will be open 9am-3pm!This event has been held for more than four decades, attracting more than 150 vendors from all over the Southwest. All items must be unique, handmade goods that provide shoppers with a high-quality and diverse selection of items! This event is free to attend!
LightsUp! A Festival of Illumination is back at Tucson Botanical Gardens from from November 28th-January 11th! Enjoy over 1 million twinkling lights, immersive light displays, and luminarias like you’ve never seen them before! A holiday event like none other in Arizona, full of installations and sculptures custom-built by local artisans. The 56th Annual Fourth Avenue Winter Street fair is happening December 12th-December 14th from 10am-5pm on Friday & Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sunday! The Fair offers something for everyone including live entertainment, buskers, 40+ food vendors, beer, and local 4th Avenue merchants. Admission is free of charge to the public and there is a free shuttle service provided from the Pennington Street Garage!

Cumulus Media’s KiiM-FM 99.5, is hosting their annual Penny Pitch Fundraiser to benefit Arizona Children’s Association this Holiday Season Wednesday, December 17th through Friday, December 19th, from 6:00am until 7:00pm daily at the Tucson Mall (indoors by H&M and Santa Claus)! The campaign’s goal each year is to raise one million pennies to benefit Arizona children in need. 100% of proceeds go directly to Arizona’s Children Association. They are one of the oldest and largest statewide comprehensive child welfare and behavioral health not-for-profit agencies in Arizona. Located in all 15 Arizona counties, they provide a variety of programs and services to meet the needs of more than 40,000 children, youth and families each year.
