Wildcats Radio 1290 has all the latest updates on Pima Athletics

TUCSON–Pima Athletics continues to excel in the classroom as well as on the field. In the 2024–25 academic year, 10 of Pima’s 11 teams earned NJCAA All-Academic Team honors, while a record-setting 88 student-athletes secured individual NJCAA All-Academic distinction. Collectively, the department achieved a 3.237 GPA, underscoring a deep commitment to academic success.

The Aztecs also compiled a combined team sports record of 214–49, secured six Region I team championships, and finished as Region I runners-up three times. Pima programs garnered 34 NJCAA All-American selections and six Coach of the Year honors.

Men’s and Women’s cross country, Men’s and Women’s soccer, and Women’s volleyball begin 2025 fall practice on Friday, August 1.
