TUCSON — Kylie Kratchwell has been promoted to Associate Head Coach for Arizona Gymnastics, Head Coach John Court announced Wednesday. Kratchwell has spent the past three seasons on staff—two as an assistant coach and one as a volunteer assistant.

“I am very pleased to announce Kylie’s promotion to associate head coach,” Court said. “She is a person of high character, has increased our program’s national competitiveness, and has a positive approach in developing our student-athletes.”

Kratchwell coaches the uneven bars and helps choreograph floor routines. This past season, she was named WCGA Regional Assistant Coach of the Year, an honor she shared with Associate Head Coach Taylor Spears and Assistant Coach Shelby Martinez.

In 2025, Kratchwell played a key role in guiding Elena Deets to Big 12 Specialist of the Year recognition for her performances on bars and beam.

Under Kratchwell’s leadership, the GymCats ended the 2025 season ranked No. 23 nationally on bars and earned the third-highest bars score in program history with a 49.425. She also helped the team tie the program record on bars in 2024 with a 49.475.

Throughout her time with the program, Arizona has produced four all-conference selections and 25 WCGA Academic All-Americans.

The GymCats have also ranked in the Road to Nationals top 25 on bars in each of Kratchwell’s three seasons on staff.
