The Northeastern Huskies, sitting second in the Colonial Athletic Association, have canceled the final two games of their season as the program pauses due to COVID-19 issues.
The Huskies (9-8, 8-2 CAA), who just had two weekend games against UNC Wilmington postponed, were scheduled to play two contests at William & Mary this Saturday and Sunday.
The CAA tournament is set to be played March 6-9 at James Madison’s new arena at Harrisonburg, Va.
The CAA on Monday announced other cancellations and schedule changes:
Hofstra vs. Elon games scheduled for Saturday and Sunday have been canceled due to COVID-19 protocols within the Hofstra program.
Delaware vs. Towson games scheduled for Saturday and Sunday have been canceled due to protocols within the Towson program.
Drexel vs. James Madison scheduled for Saturday in Harrisonburg, Va., has been moved up to Friday. JMU sits atop the CAA with an 8-1 conference mark.
